Brick Township Living Room Gets Careful Water Damage Cleanup

This Brick Township living room had water damage that the homeowner brought in SERVPRO techs to clean up. The house had laminate flooring that did not fare well against the moisture, even though the property owner brought in the techs quickly. The techs extracted the water and used their moisture detection equipment to determine areas of the room where seepage into the subfloor occurred. As seen in the After Photo, some of the floorboards required removal to dry to the substrate and prepare the area for the needed repairs. The techs take special care during the mitigation to limit disruptions to the household and also make sure the furnishings remain unaffected by covering them in heavy gauge plastic.
