Hurricane Preparedness Week is May 7-13, 2017.

Hurricane season in New Jersey is June 1st through November 30^th and since it can only take one storm to change your life, it pays to be prepared. Planning ahead for a major disaster may help to minimize damage to yourself, loved ones, pets, home and belongings.

The goal of Hurricane Preparedness Week is to inform people about hurricane hazards and provide knowledge that can be used if one occurs. If you haven’t done so in the past, there is no better time than hurricane preparedness week to begin.
